Mingzhu Contemporary Art Museum—Brand Identity

Mingzhu is a contemporary art museum located in Shanghai, China. The museum collaborates with creative art and cultural institutions, artists and intellectuals globally. The identity is inspired by its unique architectural form, an organic egg shape, designed by renowned Japanese architect Tadao Ando. Ando’s preference and play of organic egg shape is a metaphor for the aggregation, flow and strength of life and culture. The visitors are expected to venture a synthesis of art, literature, thoughts and culture, attempting to illuminate life with arts.
